Ana Paula Santana is a Mexican experimental artist born in Guadalajara in 1985. Her practice spans sound art, experimental music, interactive work, printmaking, ceramics, video and installation. Error, repetition, disruption and accumulation often function as compositional tools, connecting acoustic phenomena with their physical and psychological effects.
Ana Paula Santana works with voice, breath, and machine, while Concepción Huerta builds sound from tape and field recordings. This collaborative film brings their practices into the same audiovisual space.
