Concepción Huerta is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist whose background in photography and moving image led to a practice centred on sound. Tape manipulation, field recording, synthesis and spatial composition create work between ambient, noise, drone and musique concrète. Huerta is also part of the experimental ensemble Amor Muere with Mabe Fratti, Camille Mandoki and Gibrana Cervantes.
Ana Paula Santana works with voice, breath, and machine, while Concepción Huerta builds sound from tape and field recordings. This collaborative film brings their practices into the same audiovisual space.
