Liars began in Brooklyn in 2000 and later developed around founding member Angus Andrew. The project's catalogue moves through dance-punk, ritual percussion, noise and electronic composition. Albums including 'They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument on Top' (2001), 'Drum's Not Dead' (2006) and 'WIXIW' (2012) mark distinct changes in method and line-up.
Recorded at Milhões de Festa in Barcelos in July 2011, this festival film brings together Foot Village, Dirty Beaches, Liars, Vivian Girls, Shit and Shine, Electrelane, and other artists from the programme.
